Mitsubishi offers a wide range of products for residential customers. The Mitsubishi product line includes several configurations for the indoor unit- wall mounted and ceiling cassettes are popular choices.  Floor mounted indoor units are used when wall space is at a premium.

Mitsubishi’s Ceiling Cassette Indoor Unit

A multi-zone configuration

The outdoor unit can connect to a single indoor unit or to more than one indoor unit.  When the outdoor unit is connected to a single indoor unit it is a Single Zone System.  A Multi Zone System is when one outdoor unit is connected to more than one indoor unit.  Each indoor unit would control the temperature in an individual room or space in the home.
